ET Character Sheet Improvements

First Post
I've been fixing and updating the old character sheet 2 files to get a really good sheet going. You can download the latest at etools.ei-mg.com (click on good character sheet) Here's what it has:
Multiple attacks per round
Easier to read stats
Nicer item listing
Really detailed spells
Very detailed familiar/companion sheet with standard stat blocks and Eric Noah's familiar notes!

Working on:
Damage reduction
Spell failure
Whatever you guys suggest

suggestion...

ok...how about range modifiers (maybe a small grid with the various range increments followed by the modified attack value)?

My next suggestion would be a breakdown summary of bonuses that go into ac and attack bonus. (I play with some people that, although it has been a year since we converted to 3e, just don't seem to get all the bonus types straight). I'm not sure how that gets plucked out of eTools though.

I don't ask for much, do I? ;)

THIS SHEET ROCKS!!!

this is the coolest yet...everyday the e-tools community makes this program what is was suppose to be...useful. :)

Two notes...the previous version of this character sheet required having spells known so they would show on the list...now you don't have to and if you do it doubles this listing in the schools category like conjconj.

For the familiar...i would like the hitpoints and ac section left blank so we can fill them in ourselves.

thats all for now keep up the good work.

How about fixing the languages so that if you have more than five, they show up in the second column of that part of the character sheet. I was able (with my knowledge) to go in and add more rows, but I couldn't figure out how to just have it add to the second column to save room...I hate it when I have an extra page to print for one language.

I haven't checked out the char sheet uploaded last night, but the one before that didn't address the cleric spell problem with domains. If domains are listed, cleric spells don't show. If removed, spells print. Any thought on that, or is it something that requires WotC/Fluid intervention?

correction.

I made a mistake on my earlier post. I said you don't have to prepare spells for them to show up on you spell list in full detail. Turns out you do have to prepare spells for 0 level if you want them to show up in detail. Also would it be possible to arrange the sheet so we could have a portrait. The current portrait sheet is near useless and would be nice to use that little portrait utility in the program.

Good to hear from everyone. The current version has:
Ranged Weapons Table
Hit-Die
Damage-Reduction
Spell-failure
Armor-Check
*Fixed off-hand bugs
Spells are listed by level with highest first.
Multiple attacks/round
Easier to read: Skills, Gear, Spells
More logical protective items
Spells are FAR more detailed
Animals have stat-block style with notes from Eric Noah

I have been playing with a portrait for this sheet, but it's still in the works. As for spells, ET is to blame about those problems. I am working on the languages suggestion right now...

One small issue with the character sheet

One small thing that I found with the new character sheet is that it doesn't give details of the spells if the spell is not prepared for a cleric or Ranger (haven't tried with wizard or sorcerer yet). I can't decide to prepare a new spell for a new day without going through the players or some splatbook to read up on the spells. Is this something that can easily be fixed?

so close i can taste it.

we are so close. only problem i see with this newer version is ranged weapon bonuses makes the sheet push part of the protective items column to another sheet. if we can shrink the protective items part back down to the original size, same has weapon entries or else get rid of new ranged weapon bonuses.
it is real nice and i think everyone appreciates the effort. now if wotc could just let fluid include a prestige class entry system everyone could be happy. :)

Lord Darmeen,
That's a eTools problem. A workaround is to prepare all of your spells in eTools. Since it really has nothing to do with in-game preparation.

Drinkingsoda,
I'm working with someone on reformatting the gear/feats page to include protective items. It may be a few days though...
