D&D 5E Evasive Footwork???

Did this get resolved?

(Tried google, but couldn't find anything definitive)

PS: The issue is

When you move, you can expend one superiority die, rolling the die and adding the number rolled to your AC until you stop moving.
What does that actually mean?

Please do not restart the discussion. I am only looking for a yes/no answer: did we get official word on how to use it or is it still confusing and undefined?

Has anyone even asked? I don't see confusion. On a roll that doesn't suck it makes you practically impossible to be hit during your movement without having to waste your action on the disengage action when you charge in. Normally things will say "until end of turn" but this time they said "until you stop moving" because the intent is that it will end even before the end of the turn. It does not mean it goes on forever as long as the character has some movement during a round, there is no wording to support that.

A) Begin moving
B) Spend die
C) Dance past Guard1, who misses
D) Close and make attack against Target1, killing target
E) Move towards another soft target, Target2, past Guard2
F) Guard2 attacks

Do I get my enhanced AC against the Guard2?

I am unaware of any rule that says I "stop moving" when attacking, only that my movement appears to pause on the battlemat because an attack action is being resolved.

Yes because you didn't stop moving until your move action was complete. That's how I would rule that. Your GM might rule it different.

That. There are some oddities with attacks triggered from things like riposte that will force you to decide to stop or require you to continue moving. But it really just comes down to "When the attack is declared, if you still have useable movement left that you will use, you get the bonus AC."

The ability only lasts for your current turn, and includes all of your movement even if you attack mid way through, open a door, fall prone and stand up afterwards.

Your turn. Your movement. Simple.

The rules on when you can use it are fairly open. I wouldn't restrict it to the character's turn so for example would allow it if the character got shoved into a spike pit for instance. That may not be the intent but I don't see the wording stopping it.
