WotC has put up the Exemplars of Evil map gallery. Those are some really evocative maps! It's one of the better map collections they've put up in recent memory.

Some are nice, but damn it they are soo small and those HUGE letter icons really hurt thier usability.

Nice, thanks! Not as useable due to the file size as the Harn maps I like, but they will do.

Now if the thread had been titled "Exemplars of Evil Maps Gallery images are too small" Scott might stop by and see it and then get the web guys to fix it (like what happened to the last two map gallerys).

I wonder why WotC can't give us maps that we could actually use in our games. Is there some reason they just refuse to give us a free battle map or two? They are so small they are nearly useless - unless they are just for marketing, but does anyone buy a book like this for a handful of maps?

The Bleak Hold looks really awesome.

I particularly liked the Bleak Hold as well. It looks like it should be a floating tower of some sort, maybe in the astral.

Based on previous comments from Scott, it sounds like either a web team decision or the art team. Both times they were commented on he had larger versions up within hours of his commenting on the thread.
