Expedition to the Demonweb Pits ToC

One question concerning the look of the cover. My book isn't "shiny" like other core rulebooks, but rather dull like the volumes of the Forgotten Realms brand. Is this a commong thing in the Expedition series or just an "accident" like the one WotC made with the Waterdeep Hardcover?

I know what you mean, mine is like that too. Though a pretty blue on the inside and the rest of the page layout looks awesome. I don't know if it's with all Expedition books, this is the first time I've bought an adventure module since City of the Spider Queen.

Razz - did you get yours at a local game store? If so, are you in the U.S.? I am trying to find out if any such books might have been released early near where I am . . .

Rule-of-Three is officially a son of Graz'zt, now? In 2e he was the son of a glabrezu spy who merely worked for Graz'zt.

I guess he's moving up in the world.

Interesting to note, the cambion gets odd-number racial ability modifiers. Previously, this was strictly verboten. Are we seeing an intentional change in the design philosophy?

What I like the Oculus demon. It's way better than the one in Dungeon 129.

Heh...I just compared the two, and find almost no differences other than tactics. What are you seeing that I'm not?

Mostly the fact a) he's standing and b) his shading is a bit brighter than in Dungeon. Otherwise you're right, there's not much difference.
