Experiences playing a red wizard

First Post
I´m normally playing in groups of four players plus one GM. Most of the time I´m the only arcane spellcaster (except sometimes a bard) so giving up schools is not an easy task.

I want to know if somebody has played a specialist wizard with red wizard prc as a PC.
Which was the school you specialized in and which were your prohibited schools?
How does the group compensate the loss of spells from the prohibited schools.
Any experiences you want to share.

No experiences (I do not play evil PCs and the Red Wizards of Thay, while neutral alignment is allowed or should I say tolerated, is clearly an evil organization), but I would never consider anything but diviner, giving up three schools is just too much. :)

One thing, which might help: You can still cast the spells from the school, which you have learned earlier, so you can pick a school for enhanced specialization, which has the "most important" spells in the first 3 levels (i.e. Necromancy --> False Life, yes, there are good Necromancy spells in 4+, too, like Enervation, but False Life is really the one spell, which makes giving up the school hard for a Wizard IMHO :); or Illusion --> Mirror Image, Invisibility, Displacement).
