Psuedodragon familiar. Fly speed, reasonably intelligent, and most important:

Blindsight and Telepathy 60', never get cut off or ambushed again. Perfect as a silently relay for combat or negotiations, and Blindsight let's you deal with invisible creatures by calling down tactical glitterdusts.
