Haver Sack- gotta have one for every character, course I tend to pack rat, and keep track of everything I cam carrying.

Portable Holes- are way cool, I have one character with one right now (its seems doubtful that I will play him sense he got it)

There was a running gag in my original group over the Wand of Wonder:

"Stand back!! Or I'll use it!!!" the player would shout at the bad guys and wave it threateningly. We'd all laugh.

As with all cliches...there was an element of truth in that.

Cool. Threaten the enemies and his own party at the same time.

For me it was probably the bladebuckle, if i remember the name right. Once my party had a +5 version when the fighter's longswrod was +2. Lots of good laughs off of that one. Much of it off-color.

my favorite (if i recall the name correctly) is the Helm of the Insect from the leatherbound Encyclopedia Magicas
mainly because of the kickass artwork for it (guy biting his way out of a giant squids grapple)

i always wanted, but never found, a rod of lordly might (ladder !)

and yes, a deck of many things has borked my campaign too
