Who makes your favorite minis/figs.

Since I only Play D&D, I will have to vote for Reaper figs, although a few of my favorite figs come from Rackham's Confrontation line.

Well, I would vote for Wizkids. Since I have zero desire to assemble and paint figures, their mage knight figs have been a godsend.

I keep hoping they'll make a Shadowrun clicky-game, so I can get more modern looking figures, but their MK stuff is great for fantasy (and some of their Heroclix isn't bad for modern day. The blade figure, for instance)

I just bought my first Mage Knight figs and they do not look too bad. I like that they are cheaper than pewter/lead figs and come with a basic paint job. I hate painting armies and get border painting orcs and goblins etc.

I just wish you could see what you bought before you hand over the cash.

Reaper, hands down. They have my favorite sculptors, are relatively inexpensive, and have a incredibly diverse line of minis which has not yet failed to provide at least a close match for any of my player's PCs

Along with Reaper, those M:tG miniatures from a few years ago - very clean sculpting. They've got WotC on the base, but it looks like the work was done by Heartbreaker sculptors.

Games Workshop.
I also like the looks of Reaper and Rackham miniatures, but they aren't sold in Finland, so...
WotC also makes decent miniatures.
As for the pre-painted ones, I cannot see the point.

I'm currently struggling with a burgeoning Chainmail addiction, and have been very pleased with most of the sculpts of both my warband and all of the warbands I've faced.

Other than that, I think the people who do that ancient Egyptian war game (I want to say Crocodile Games, or something) are really cool.

Rackham makes the most imaginative "kewl" miniatures in the business. I pick two or three up virtually every time I see them.

A French-Canadian company called Aidken makes beautiful resin miniatures of standard fantasy flair. Dropped a couple hundred on them at Gen Con a couple years back, and will no doubt fall prey to them again this year. I have yet to paint any of these minis. For some reason, I'm expecting it to be pretty difficult.

The original series (Rebellion) were the ugliest (and poorest quality, sculpt wise). They've improved quality a lot (though there are still some ugly figures).

I've bought most of mine on Ebay, used. So I knew what I was getting. But buying them new is kinda like playing the lottery. Kinda fun when you get a good/rare figure, and kinda sucks when you get bad ones or the same figure over and over.

I am also subject to a pretty good Ghainmail addiction. I like the game a lot, but, the game aside, I think that the sculpts are top notch, with excellent detail and dynamic poses.

I also have quite a number of Reaper minis. They have such a large selection of cool minis, especially if you are looking for a mini of your pc for a D&D game.

I haven't bought any yet, but soon I am going to give in and buy some of Mark Copplestone's Future Wars minis for the Spycraft game I'm in.

Too answer the original question though, my favorite is WOTC with the Chainmail line of minis.
