So, lets say you are making a character and not starting at level 1. Lets assume you have enough levels to choose any LA adjustment you'd like, within reasonable limits(+24 divine titan is out), what would be your choice and why?

What would be the most fun for you? The most overpowered?

Even a class progression, if you feel like it, might be cool.

I'll start out. A Drakh(sp?) from Arcana Evolved, with both racial paragon levels and dragon apotheosis(or whatever its called, heh) levels. LA +0, big wings, claws, bite, breath weapon, draconic looking. I love it.

As far as stupidly overpowered goes ...

I once saw a human fighter/forsaker with the vow of poverty. He was in Kalamar, where Lightning Reflexes is a fighter bonus feat.

That means he got Forsaker at second level. He didn't get the Vow until 6th, but it hardly mattered. As his CON also added to his AC, it became more important than strength. He was ridiculously overpowered.

Templates:

Draconic and half-dragon - I heart dragonish stuff.
Feral - Just because.

Races:

Kobolds. Lots of Kobolds. Tucker is my hero.

Best: Feral, Draconic Kobold.

Back in 3.0 I played in a high powered campaign a drow half-fiend rogue/diviner.
Also a character I played only one session was an orc half-dragon psychic warrior.

I'm fond of Aasimar Favored Soul/Paladin/Divine Crusader also, thematically.

I'd love to play a Half-Fiend Tiefling, except tiefling is such a terrible race, mechanically. I love their flavor.

I don't stick to one Race that I like, that doesn't mean their all favourite, just that they will be eventually even if only for a short time :)
