[Feat] Danger Sense: What do you think?

how about changing what the feat does. i like the concept of it, but not the way you've gone about it. try something like bonus' to spot+listen for surprise round. or give the PC an extended sense of when something's 'not right' i dunno something along those lines.

Possibly something like a bonus to a Listen Check to avoid being flat-footed at the start of combat?

Say the character makes an opposed roll, his Listen versus Move Silently of the attacker(s) in order to avoid being surprised/caught flat footed. Does this sound better to anyone?

How about making the prerequisites Blind-Fight and a base reflex bonus of +3? That means only 2nd level characters could possibly take it, which means a Monk, Rogue, or Bard could take the feat at that time. That seem better?

ARE YOU NUTS!?!? Sneak attack and Evasion far outweigh Uncanny dodge. Argh.

Yes, I am nuts.

BOOGHA BOOGHA BOOGHA!!!!!!!!!

See? :D

Anyways, Uncanny Dodge is pretty damn powerful. I mean, come on. Can't be caught Flat-Footed? Can't be flanked? That's pretty frickin' cool in my book.

Not to say that uncanny dodge isn't powerful (My munchkin melee mage carries an awareness weapon), but that my fireballs never stick to The Flaming Rheo (roguish adversary/fellow party member/would-be usurper of alpha-munch position) and that if he flanks me, I *HURT*, outweigh unflatfootedness.

I think the feat is okay (actually I think making Uncanny Dodge a Feat is still fair and balanced, even if I won`t do that).
But as an alternative:
Everything as is (okay, maybe lose Blind Fight Prerequisite?):
Yo gain a +4 Bonus on Listen Checks to avoid being flat footed.

How about these changes.
Prerequisite wis 15+, blindfight.
Benifit on a wisdom check (DC15) the charachter is not cought flatfooted.

Ummm...you are aware that with a base Wisdom of 15, and a Wisdom check DC, you couldn't possibly fail the check, ever. Either leave the wisdom check out or raise the DC, otherwise it doesn't serve any purpose. Remember, you don't autofail on ability checks, as they are simply untrained skill checks.
