Feat to prepare general cleric spells in domain slots

I'm considering running this feat by my DM and possibly submitting it to the Netbook of Feats.

What do you think? It can be very useful, but I think its power is balanced by requiring Expanded Domains (sort of its mirror feat) as a prereq feat.

Domain Adaptability [Special]

You can memorize general cleric spells as if they were domain spells.
Prerequisite: Expanded Domains feat.
Benefit: You can prepare general clerical spells in your domain spell slots.
Normal: You can only prepare domain spells in domain spell slots.

For reference, here is the prerequisite Expanded Domains feat from the Netbook of Feats:

EXPANDED DOMAINS [Special]
COPYRIGHT 2001, Carl Cramér, Curtis Bennett
You can memorize domain-specific spells as if they were general cleric spells.
Prerequisite: Ability to cast clerical spells and domain spells.
Benefit: You can prepare domain spells from all of your chosen domains in your clerical spell slots. You may still only prepare domain spells in your domain spell slots.
Notes: If you wish, you can still substitute domain spells memorized in regular spell slots for cure wounds spells.
Balance: 5.00 (Purp 5.00, Pow 5.00, Port 5.00, Comp 5.00, Rule 5.00)

Expanded domains really needs a prerequite that clerics do not automatically get. I'd require a Wis 19+ and a feat. I can't think of a good feat right now though.

Yeah, expanded domains is right out in my book. How they gave that'n a 5 is beyond me...

otoh, I don't think domain adaptability is all that bad at all. I'd let you take it and I'm notoriously suspicious of all that kind of stuff.

Mechanically, it seems fine, but I think it loses some flavor. Domains are supposed to be your god's specialities. Wouldn't clerics be encouraged to act in the realm of their domains by requiring them to prepare domain spells?

What prerequites does it have?

I only flipped through the book, but if I recall correctly it was the ability to cast 9th-level spells (most of the magical feats had something like this), 30 ranks of Spellcraft, and a high Wis... I want to say 25, but to be honest I'm not sure. It was above 20, I know that much.
