Female opinions, please

Well, my roommate is a long time gamer, but she really doesn't like wading through the message boards. So she relies on me to tell her about interesting threads and post her comments.

Her opinion of 4e, after skimming through the DMG and reading the PH is, and I quote, "there is no way in <censored> I am playing this trumped up, video-gamey piece of <censored>." As you can tell she's a bit opinionated.

She doesn't like the available PC races, the classes available (or lack there of), the alignment change, the fact that Magic Missile doesn't automatically hit, and a bunch of other things she rattled off so fast I couldn't keep up.

And here I was hoping to hang out with some gamer chicks.

Sounds like a classic case of Freudian penis envy to me

Please, PLEASE don't take that seriously. For what it's worth I have a penis and some of the arguments on here make me wish I didn't.

My wife hates what they did to skills, annoyed and concerned at the lack of and what they might do to bards, not really looking to switch. She hasn't read or played yet.

At this point I would be happy to be DMed by anybody - always the bridesmaid (the DM), never the bride (a player).

I mean anyone, I don't care if they have 8 balls, 3 breasts and a trunk – I would definitely attend that session!
