Fighting the Gray Tide (Miniature Painting)

A friend of mine had another friend cleaning out their mini collection. Long story short, I got some cool old metal minis from the 1980’s. The first one I painted was the Grenadier Models Chaos Giant!

Those old minis sometimes look goofy but in a charming way. Great job painting them.

I’m painting the Space Marines from the Indomitus boxed set and then I pulled out the ones from Dominion boxed set for 9th edition. Despite locating the Dominion boxed quite easily, I'm missing some of the marines. I have no idea where they went and it'll take considerable effort to find them. Try to stay organized, folks.

Finished up my various reaper rat folk. I like that the giant hulk of a rat is white, like a lab rat who went through some terrible wizardly experiment!

Also painted the old metal stone giant my friend gave me. Interesting to compare with Harshnag, a modern day frost giant.

Just learned one of the folks over on the Reaper painting forums passed away yesterday. Didn't know him personally, but it's always sad to lose a like-minded soul.
