Fighting the Gray Tide (Miniature Painting)

Tank Hunter Communicant (with a munitions shrine) and a group shot of my warband so far. It will certainly still grow over the next couple of days.

That is exactly what they're from. I painted this years ago, recently stripped the paint, and decided to have another go at it.

Yeah, I definitely have a problem, lol. It took me exactly forty-five seconds to visually identify and confirm a random miniature's ID by a secondary part...
I pretty much have the entire Reaper, Ral Partha and Grenadier sections of the Lost Minis Wiki memorized.

I've always considered myself more of an artisan than an artist - my painting gets a little bit above high tabletop at best, but I've always been damn good at making scenery, doing conversions and sculpting...

(Ordered a "mystery paint set" from Reaper, came with a dozen paints and a couple random minis, including the Kaiju Chaos figure from Bones 5... Painting it up in red and black lizard stripes for a coworker's kid... Lizard's about 3.5 in. tall, with some old 1/285th Micro Armor - cuz nothin says "Big Stompy Monster" like tiny little tanks, right? lol Hopefully I'll remember to take some finished shots before I hand it over.)
