I like the way the wings look charred and crispy near the back edge.

I’m down to my last unpainted mini (started it yesterday) so I just ordered $120 bucks of minis off Etsy (looking to boost my collection of elementals and related creatures for my Primordial Evil campaign (reimagining ToEE to actually be about elemental evil).

Here’s the finished product. I used Army Painter matte finish and am happy with the results. I need to keep working on my skin game, but this isnlt too bad.

This guy was fun... printed on black filament, gray ash drybrush, white highlight drybrush, some bright green for the eyes and chest hole, then moss wash, then a metallic azure in the eyes and chest hole along with a rusty iron for the chains, then a military green wash all over and the basing...

The print lines combined with the color give the illusion I'm looking at an image from an old cathode ray tube circa 1982.
