Firefly RPG I want it!

To my knowledge, there is no armor worn by Serenity's crew. I assume they would be the average, not the exception.
Zoe wears a kind of metal mesh armour under her shirt in the pilot episode ("Serenity", not "The Train Job"). The soldiers on the train in "The Train Job" wear the same armour as the Mobile Infantry from Starship Troopers, because it is the same armour repainted.

Going almost completely off-topic (again), has anyone else heard anything of the rumor about the movie being part of a trilogy? Apparently, the actor who plays Wash has suggested such in a few interviews...

If its true, I hope that means the RPG will last more than one book.

I would LOVE to see a game based on Firefly/Serenity. Hell, I would love to see one based on the new Battlestar Galactica too.

Man, I second that in all respects :D.

I'm waiting to see who the offical Firefly RPG handles stuff, but I'll probably do a BSG plug-in as fan support for Spycraft at some point. That show has no right to be as good as it is, and it just drips espionage .

*back to nagging the bosses about trying to get the license*

Though I think whats-her-name probably went through the psionic tree :D.

I hit every limb on the way down, too. :D

I am really looking forward to the Firefly game. I hope I can talk the other members of our group to give it a try.

Jewel Staite, the actress that plays Kaylee stated that in the panels at I-Con in NY. Apparently it was part of the deal that came across, although it still depends on whether the movie does well in the box office.

Ah, good, more than one actor mentioning it. The one I was thinking of was Alan "almost last-named after a battletech planet" Tudyk. Always want to type in Tukkayid for his last name. :D

I just hope the movie deals with what precisely Shepard Book is. I'm still wondering who exactly he may be after that little ID check incident on the Feddy cruiser that got him medical attention real fast...

BTW, guys, if you're at GenCon this year, stop by the Sovereign Press/Margaret Weis Productions booth. A couple of the actors from Serenity will be there (though I can't remember who at the moment).

As for Battlestar Galactica, I'd like to see RPG's based on both classic Galactica and the new show. Perhaps someone should start a topic on this on a new thread.

Summer Glau (River) will be in attendence at the Sovereign Press booth on Saturday at GenCon and is slated for signing copies of the Serenity RPG for free as they are bought!! Hehe I'm sooooo there.

Well the movie *does* deal with exactly what Book must have been in his past, but in a kinda round-about sorta way heh. I don't want to give any specifics away though. ;)
