Firefox 3 Annoyance

So far, I rather like FF3. There is one huge annoyance, though.

When I'm typing a URL into the address bar, it tries to type ahead, which is cool. But, the drop-down list has double lines of url + page title. I can see where it might be nice, but I hate it. I'm used to looking at the url and knowing where I'm at. Having the page title just breaks up my vision and gets in the way.

Does anyone know how to turn this feature off? I haven't found a setting to do it.

Yeah, upgraded, then 'downgraded' to OldBar the same day - not perfect, but ye gods and little fishes! I find the 'Awesome Bar' to be an Awesome Pain in the [Redacted for Reasons of National Security]. What the heck were they thinking?!!!

The Auld Grump, who may yet go back to FF2....

Curious...Does anyone have trouble opening tabs by using the ctrl-click method? In particular on the new Enworld 2 front page (because I'm not having that issue anywhere else)?

The new tab does appear, but the front page of Enworld changes to what I clicked also....very annoying...

That doesn't seem to be the case for me. Both ctrl-click and middle click work normally.

I had some unrelated wonkyness in my FF3 profile after upgrading from 2 (wasn't remembering that I was logged in to things), so I made a fresh profile and that took care of the issue. Might be worth a shot.

At first, I didn't like the awesome bar. Now I love it :)

I still get more mileage out of the Search bar on the right-hand side though.

I also really like the new address bar behavior (I can't bring myself to call it 'awesome' though). It's a bit of an adjustment, but I'm starting to find the title info to be rather helpful -- it makes recognition a little quicker than if I had to parse URLs alone.
