D&D 5E Flamestrike and Stalker0's little adventure

I will gather the group over and show them the spot. "Its here everyone, though magic was used to cover it up, the entrance is still here, we just have to find a way to break through the rock. I shall provide us a fortification that will hold off intruders while we work, but we will need to muscle to break through".
The Dwarf eyes the stonework (Stonecunning is ruled to apply here, it WAS a Dwarven fortification after all), and turns you you stating that Dwarven walls and door are likely a few feet thick at a minimum, and it would take hours to break through even if the party had the appropriate tools; the ritual will likely be completed by then; and thats presuming the noise of such an endeavor would not alert the entire complex to their presence as is.

The Bard (who has finished tying the ropes together) suggests maybe checking out the roof first. He's happy to climb up and check it out (Athletics +9).

Am I the party leader? If the charismatic character wants to climb I'm not going to stop him ;).
Ok, the Bard climbs up the wall easily, and after a few minutes reports back that there is a locked trap door up the top, likely used for defenders to reach the crenellations of the walls up the top.

He ties the rope off on the crenellations and lowers it down for the party to climb.

The rest of the party do so. You follow I presume?

Indeed!

Sorry; busy weekend.

After a short climb you all reach the top of the tower. It looks pretty barren, but the Bard calls you all over and points out a trapdoor built into the floor. It has a sturdy lock on it.

The Rogue suggests he pick it. Any objections or anything else you want to do?

Let the rogue do his thing!

The Cleric steps forward to bless the Rogue with guidance.

The Bard asks to helps out (using Jack of all Trades) to provide advantage to the roll, but when asked by the DM 'how are you helping exactly?" the Bards player draws a blank, so the DM declines to give advantage to the roll (too many cooks and all that).

For shits and giggles, you can roll for the Rogue if you want. His Thieves tools bonus is +10 (+1d4 for guidance).
