Considering that you can move just fine between a fighters 4 attacks, and I never hear people calling the monk overpowered, i would let him move without hesitation

True, but you're also talking the difference between a 20th-level fighter (well, or even 11th-level with a bonus action attack I suppose) and a 2nd-level monk. That's a LOT of experience between them.

But as you said, allowing it would hardly break anything and monks aren't overpowered so why not LOL.
