For those having problems with their D&D Insider Account

First Post
I read in one of the other threads that a few people were having the same problem I was, they could not access their D&D Insider account. For the past two days, I have tried multiple times to get on to the site with no luck. Well, I think I figured it out.

It seems that Gleemax is having problems with some accounts. I had decided just to reregister an account and went here - gleemax registration. There is a link there for "migration". Click on it and answer the questions with your original account info. When you have finished, you will be able to access D&D Insider normally. At least, that is what happened with my account.

Hope that helps a few people.

I did the migration several days ago and verified it. I can log into gleemax (and am currently shown as logged in from the last time that I visited), but I still have not been successful getting into DND Insider- it keeps telling me that I need to log into DND Insider and then gives me the same message again after after I log in.

And just to be sure -- you are now using your e-mail address instead of your username to log in, right? That one stumped me for a sec too.

Check your password...

Was your password you set for you DDI different then the one you set for your wizards forums account? Apparently I think it changes the PW to whatever it is on the WOTC forums after you migrate.

That one zanged me for a bit until I realized it had set my PW to one that I used in an old WOTC forum account from like 5 years ago.

Blow away your cookies and clear your browser cache too. They've changed so much it could be bad data left over from an earlier version.

Password verification = true. I even tried a false password which showed verification=false

Thanks. I will give it a try. I know the browser cache has been cleared, but I haven't cleared the cookies.

Cookies... Bad for your waistline.. and your gaming habit...

Lol. It's a cookie conspiracy.

It began with the culinary arts department at the college where I work baking fresh cookies everyday. I am addicted to both the white chocloate macademia and the oatmeal raisin cookies. Unfortunately, the habit is wreaking havoc with my workout results.

Now, WOTC has joined against me.

Of course, if you're still having problems, contact customer service.

http://wizards.custhelp.com/

I originally did and they were no real help. The customer service rep with whom I spoke told me that tech support for Gleemax is actually handled by someone else and the best WOTC customer support could do is walk me through setting up a help account for me to send a help email. That was annoying as calling WOTC or emailing customer support were two of the options given for dealing with problems logging into DND Insider.
