D&D 5E ForgedAnvil D&D 5E Character Generator

Amazing work!

Question. As a DM, I frequently use NPCs with PC classes or class powers. If this could somehow output to a NPC style (like the Monster Manual or supplement monster stat blocks) it would be amazing. Any chance of this?

Humble worship and praise for your gaming efforts! :P

*edit* found the last tab, nevermind! :)

Cool, enjoy!

Is there a way to change the font size with out being able to un-protect the sheet? Specifically for the summary tab, lots of extra space there and it would be cool to have the writing a bit bigger......

The text is actually a fixed width so you get an indent format after a bullet point, doing this makes it much easier to read (but one needs to manually go through all text to ensure it fits to the width limit). The font size is the maximum size it can be to fit the width limit, the Character Summary sheet has a slightly larger font than Character Sheet II due to a slightly wider width however this makes the spell text smaller. Trade-offs are made so the basic detail fits on a single page.

Below is a sample character, Wizard 10. For other classes (e.g. Monk, Fighter) the class / feat details can take up significant space hence the large space on the right side

Great character sheet. I've been using it for at least the last dozen versions.

I'm building a Svirfneblin and the generator is telling me that I have 60' Infravision. The Deep Gnome has superior (120') infravision.

Im trying to build a barbarian, and i dont know if its just me but: in the handbook barbarians unarmored defense = 10+dex+con modifiers, however the generator is only including the dex modifier. Has there been an update to the rules?

Thanks for the feedback!

If you are wearing any armor then unarmored defense becomes 10+dex, I've looked at the formula and it's reference is ArmorName. I will look to change this as selecting "none" as armor and if using the override, it should still be seen as "none" [fixed for v1.52]

This works fine for Excel 2010-2016, selecting Gnome as Race and Deep as Subrace shows Darkvision 120ft, note you can override this value.

What version of Excel are you using?

I have Excel 2013 as part of a purchase of Office 365.

I downloaded your workbook version 1.51.today.

When I select Race:Gnome, Subrace: Deep on the Start tab, in section 3 for vision it says Darkvision 120ft.
In the details in the upper-right, it shows Darkvision 60ft.
Character Sheet II shows Darkvision 60ft under Race: Deep Gnome.

Ahh got it now! I was only focused on the change in the Start Sheet (I had the All Details unchecked, so didn't see the 60ft darkvision)

Thanks, will correct and fix for v1.52
