The red Wizards campaign might have been bumped to 2026, 2025 is pretty full between the MM, new Starter Set, Dragon Anthology, FRPG, and FRAG.
I don't recall that they ever promised a specific time frame for the Red Wizards, honestly, juat that it was coming...bit they said that in 2023, so I am skeptical based on theor product development cycle that they meant 2026.

Still betting on Venger in the Starter Box, Red Wizards in the FRAG (oooh, I like that acroynm, too bad the title is a working one).

They mentioned you can join the Red Wizard faction in the FRPG.

Yup, and dollars to donuts all the factions will get Backgrounds, and Origin Feats...though PC Red Wizards are more likely to be the Rogue, anti-Tam group that wants to take back Thay, I reckon.

It would make sense for the faction play to get Advebture support in FRAG.

Might let you pick which Faction you join, Rebel, Szass Tamian, or Hazlaner.

Yes. Under "Step 4: Choose an Alignment" in the new PHB, it states: "D&D assumes that player characters aren't of an evil alignment. Check with your DM before making an evil character."
Yup, and it makes sense: doesn't mean somerpgue Lawful Neautral Red Wizards aren't viable.
