Shardstone
Hero
Joining the Red Wizards would be a cool idea. I'd like to do an anti-hero takeover, like "The Boys" but hunting liches instead of supes.
To keep info together:Does anyone know who these two game developers for the FR books are? They should have added names and titles to the faces in this video.

I assume that is one of the main reasons for the announcement.Has it occurred to anyone else that we could he getting playtests for the FR Player's Guide options any time now?
To keep info together:
Do not recognize the first designer.
The second one is Jaaon Tondro, who was the Project Lead for the Deck of Many Things and editor of the OD&D reprint history book. He worked at Paizo, did a bunch of Pathfineer and Starfinder stuff.
Some interesting stuff, with the academic works.
Some interesting stuff, with the academic works.
He made some waves in the online discourse because of the intro to the OD&D book, because he made some very measured and nuanced statements about some of the material not having aged well since 1974 and acknowledging the issues.
It's an approach thst might bear interesting fruit with the FR.Given it appears that he's the lead for the FR books, I thought it'd be useful to have him give his thoughts on his design philosophy for the last book he lead, The Deck of Many Things. Basically he kept everything that was in every version of the deck between edition, but thanks to his research he discovered to his surprise that was only the name and that they were cards.
