OOC: I think we have initiative for almost everyone. I'll have a map up tomorrow Friday at the latest and give each you a sense of when you can join the fray. Sorry for the delay. ;-)

Ballista, HP48/48, AC 26/29vRanged(FF19/24vR-T15/20vR) F5 R13 W6

Ballista moves with all haste toward the sounds of combat as well (Double Move).

Initiative: (1d20+5=11)

OOC - Apologies for the delay folks. I spent the last 3 hours setting up a more permanent wireless network that I can use while I'm here in Washington. I should have an internet connection every day now.

Okay, I'm trying to clean up this mess I've made. Here's the initiative order and stated actions:

Jillian 24 Tumbling out
Garagos 22 Double move to the fight
Zorn 18 Double move to the fight
Harrison 16 (took you first and superior roll) Double move to the fight
Ballista 11 Double move to the fight
Constructs 11 Chasing Ballista and attacking anyone nearby
Logan 6 Move to door and cast dispel magic.
Grackle 5 Single move toward fight (mage armor still in effect)

And a map of where I believe everyone was at the start of the encounter with the Constructs. Next post will include current positions for round 2.

Jillian, realizing that the odds do not favor her, displays her acrobatic prowess and moves away from the constructs.

Garagos hies to the battle, stubby legs pumping.

Zorn strides boldly across the room to the fight.

Harrison, who was expecting trouble and standing with weapons ready moves quickly to the constructs.

Ballista, but close to the fight is soon in position beside the door.

The constructs come clattering out of the room to the attack, headless of the fact that they expose themselves to attacks of opportunity from Ballista (You may roll against C1, C2, C3, C4 or C5) and Harrison (C2 only).

The constructs attacks (1d20+8=22, 1d20+8=9, 1d20+8=16, 1d20+8=16, 1d20+8=10, 1d20+8=18) all clang uselessly off armor and shield or hit only empty air.

Logan rushes over, and prepares to cast a spell (you are welcome to change your intended action of casting dispel magic next round as events have overtaken you. I should have clarified the initiative and movement situation before responding to your post.)

Grackle and Admiral approach at a more measured pace, perhaps less eager than their companions to tangle with these clattering constructs and their whirling blades.

OOC: Jillian, Garagos, Zorn, Harrison and Ballista are up. Grackle and Logan please hold your actions until we resolve the others.

Jillian takes a step back away from the fray and waves her hands trying to make Construct #1 strike the column next to her. "Over here you silly sword and shield thingie!"

OOC: Total defense for +4 dodge bonus to AC, move to M-10.
