"No bet. I hope you know what you're doing though! Personally, I wouldn't touch any of them, not even with YOUR hand."

who says i plan on touching anyof them. I am letting the trap springers do thier work. I done died doing my work.

After following the others into the small room, Zorn looks around. He notices the three chests and narrows his eyes in suspicion.

Proceed with utmost caution. These are undoubtedly trapped.

Then he casts detect magic and stares at the 3 chests.

ooc: (the large ones on the floor that is)

"Ummm, Grackle is worried now. Any want in Grackle's bubble? Get close." the gnome mutters. He waits only a few seconds, then chants gibberish and waves his arms about, creating another magic bubble like before, to protect himself and anyone else that gets close enough in time. It can probably only fit him and two or three others, really.

Logan says, "Sure, why not." and steps into Grackle's new, empty bubble, with a big smile for the little Gnome.

Ballista moves over to the dirty little caster as he starts to mumble. The archer rubs her chins a moment in thought as Zorn shares what he finds. "If those two have magic on them, but the nice big shiney silver chest doesn't...then I'd say let the trapspinger help eachother out and go over the silver one. What do you think that chest is worth? Not to mention if anything is inside. What do you folks think?" She looks around to see if the party has stepped onto the same train of thought as her.

[sblock=Appraise check 15+]The silver chest is likely worth 500 gp plus the value of the lock depending on how good it is. The gold chest is easily worth 10 times as much. The wood and brass model is worth perhaps 5 gp plus the lock.[/sblock]

Harrison pulls out 10 gp and says, I put my money on the wood one as i am guessing the other tow are tests of one's greed, But that is what i would do. Zorn, you say there is magic on the gold and woodones, but not on the silver? Then my gess is that there is some kind of magid thingy on the gold one, a mechanical thingy on the silver one and a really tough lock on the wood and brass one. that is not to say that the gold and silver chest in their own rights might be considered treasure unto them selves.

As a mercenary, I have seen a lot of devious ways to deter people from ransacking the treasure rooms of captured towers, and that woud only be one way to do it."
