The gargoyle statue springs into motion. All three hands contract into fists crushing the valuable diamonds into worthless powder. Just as despair starts to set in, but before anyone can do bodily harm to Ballista the statue speaks the following words in harshly accented Common:
“YOUR SACRIFICE WAS NOT IN VAIN. LOOK TO THE FOURTH TO FIND YOUR GAIN.”

Harrison jumps out of his skin (that must be quite the gruesome sight, eh?) and levels his sword at the moving statue. he is about to atack when it speaks. watching it he sees no further action, but he is still on his guard.

Ballista peeks over Jillians shoulder as she pokes at the bad corner. "Uh whatcha doin there Jillsie? Theres an easier way to find little invisible things than that." She unhooks her cloak, and gently drapes it flatly over the ground in the corner to see any telltale dumps underneath.

Jillian bumps something when she goes poking around. Ballista's cloak reveals something small and oval shaped. Once Zorn brings his magic into play and the cloak is removed, he sees a large oval diamond with two large flat faces. The invisibility liquid on the gem was smeared in a couple of places by the cloak. It seems that a good cleaning would render whatever it is visible to all.
