Zorn considers Harrison's request for a brief moment before answering.

"While I am fairly certain I could get Ballista out of there should the door close, we should try to keep it open anyway. It would make escape from that room easier."

Harrison nods and procedes to pound a piton at the base of the door jamb in such that the door wont be able to close.

Jillian takes time to thoroughly search the area around the gem being careful not to touch anything after the revelation about the columns. Then she will head to the south casually searching as she goes. Once she arrives at the raised area to the south she will again go into thorough search mode and search the area there.

No traps are found around the gem. Moving on to the raised area you find a stark black dais holds an obsidian throne inlaid with silver and ivory skulls. A crown and scepter rest upon the throne. The crown is golden, while the scepter has a silver end, and one of gold. A careful search reveals no traps. There is however an inlaid panel on the front to the throne at the base below which is a secret door. Your best guess is that some magical implement or key opens the secret door. Other than the magically trapped columns you find nothing of interest between the gem and the raised dais.

Harrison nods and procedes to pound a piton at the base of the door jamb in such that the door wont be able to close.

The echos of his hammer blows echo through the large chamber as he secures the door.

Hearing the echos after he is done pounding, harrison stands then hides the hammer in his hand and grins like a kid with an unauthorized cookie.

Once the raised area to the south has been searched she moves toward the north, casually searching as she goes. Once she arrives at each of the three doors toward the north she thoroughly searches them for traps. When she is done there she returns to the group with her report.

As Jillian turns to examine the north side of the room the door begins to move. The massive reinforced door easily shears off the steel piton as it begins to slowly close.

"Eeeeee!" Grackle squeals out in surprise, panicking! He gibbers out "Whaddawedowhaddawedowhaddawedo?!?!!?!?" ..........while safely on the other side of the doorway, having been too cowardly to go in until the others took care of any traps. He scampers closer to the doorway, but stays back a bit, not sure what to do.
