Fort Knocks - knight otu judging

Rurik: 40/40, AC 18, +10, 1d10+7/x3

[Thanks for your patience with ever-dwindling numbers of players, KB. I'll finish out the adventure with whoever you want to bring back in (Rainca/Hoarsons, NPCs, whatever) or if you want to call it a day, I understand.]

Rurik looks around, satisfied (for as far as he can see, anyway). As he walks back to retrieve his horse and pack, he stops, wincing.

He continues to walk, and as he retrieves his horse and leads it toward the mine with one hand, he can be seen rummaging through his pack with the other. After a few seconds, he pulls out a small, cylindrical clay jar, which he carries in the off hand.

He then turns into the wood, and, leading the horse to a grassy spot within, tethers it to a small tree.

Once finished, he pulls the lid off the jar, and reaches inside. Coming up with a viscous blob about the size of small stone, he smells it, and, pronouncing it potent, proceeds to rub it onto his wound.

The effects are immediate, and as Rurik walks out of the wood to rejoin his comrades, he iis once again at full health.

OOC:
Now, we have to get approval for the levelled up characters before playing any further, don't we? I've just emailed nimisgod with my proposed level 2 - which I just realize I have already updated on the boards here :o .

Thanks for continuing, KB - I'm enjoying the game. This and Halfling Quest are the only 2 games I'm in which are still going, so I'd like to keep going if that's OK. One good thing, if only dpdx and I continue to play - it should speed up the turnaround!

ooc: I must recognize that things are going a lot faster lately, and I would be very happy with a posting rate half as quick as this. The thing is, If I don´t bow out now it would seem i was "threatening" Kahuna burger with leaving, which is absolutely untrue: simply, everyone has different styles of play, and if they clash is just better to leave before hard feelings arise.

That said, I´m ready to swallow my words and continue is the adventure continues at a good pace. (I notice it sounds like a threat again, but it´s only because I can´t use words properly. Believe me)

Speaking of experience, total XP adds to 1740, IIRC, wich is cool. I´ll post a leveling proposal and e-mail Nimisgod.

I can certainly understand the frustration at my erratic posting pace... I sometimes get a creative brain freeze when it comes to structuring the next encounter (not to mention putting together new maps), but can move things well during a particular phase of the game. I believe we are entering the "endgame" of this particular adventure, so if you all can help me out by making clear decisions on movement and tactics, I think we can finish this up.

(warning, on oct 16th, I'm leaving for hawaii for two weeks - while I may well have internet access, you can pretty much assume a major posting slowdown at that point. ;) )

I expected a long dungeon after entering the fort, so if it´s not going to last too much I suppose I could very well finish the whole thing and don´leave at the middle of it. Nodis´ leveling has already been approved by Nimisgod, so I´m ready to continue.

Nodis´ max power points just went up by 6. Should I assume he has them, do I continue with what I have left (2 power points?), or are we supposed to go to rest after this fight? Same goes for hit points.

for the sake of simplicity, you can raise your maximum pp and hp limits (but subtract those currently used/lost). Think of it as having discovred untapped strength within yourself or gotten a suprising strong second wind in the wake of the fight. :)
