The lone human is shopping for really good walking shoes ;)

Oooops. Sorry. I was looking for a word to describe the tall folks, but I ended up forgetting you when I spelled them out. Light horse for you as well.

In addition, she will supply you with a contact in Silvermoon from which to purchase your mounts for the trip; Alustirel gives you gold for this. (A Light Horse for each of the elves and half-elves, a war pony for the dwarf and a War Dog for the halfling, sorry, no climbing dogs in Silverymoon).

Sounds good! Just one question though, what did Lady Alustriel say as per Barding for the mounts? Does she supply us with enough to purchase barding, or no? Also, is food for the mounts included?

Don't worry about size, I can resize any of the icons to fit yuor stature.

It's ok, I like #33 :)

I guess what I'm saying is .. for good or ill these bracers are on us and can't be removed. I figured that if we were an adventuring group that had a name like "Companions of the Green Eye," maybe we would all buy bracers like this as a badge or our group.

Either way, if people who know about the bracers see us with them on, it won't matter if our name is "The Followers of Fizzlewick" ... they're going to know exactly who we are.

::nods:: that makes sense. (and I really *was* kidding about "the Followers of Fizzlewikk".. hehe) I'm not really coming up with anything else so what you suggested sounds just as good as any!

EDIT- I almost forgot to ask, Breezly, how long of a trip is it from Silverymoon to Sundabar?

I suggested "Green Eye" for a couple of reasons. First, we are all wearing green bracers with a gem, regardless of whether it's by choice or not .. so a name like that would give a secondary reason for the bracers. Second, I think it would be a nice enough name even if it weren't for the bracers .. after all, I didn't suggest "Servants of the Green Dragon" ;).

I agree. Your suggestion is fine with me.

Couple of suggestions on party name posted :) Trying to do my part and geek out with lots of research too. Those names and the greeting with Alustriel I offered are in Sindarin.

No barding allowances were made, though you can purchase them if you have the funds.

As for the length of time from Silverymoon to Sundabar, it is about 120 miles, give or take. So it will take you about 5-6 days at a normal pace, not including weather or encounter delays.

Oh, if you can change the colors, then please still take #34 (it just looks the most fitting, considering her equipment, and the hairs are cool ;)) and change the brown clothing to green (like the cloak of #7). That would be fine, I think.

Off Topic - d20 Modern

Hail everyone. I am posting this to assess any interest in d20 Modern. I personally do not own any of the books, however, I have fond memories of playing Top Secret "Back in the Day", and I am thinking about taking up the call. Yes, perhaps I am dating myself a bit, but I am curious if there is an interest with you folks for this type of game.

This is all preliminary, so nothing is going to start up in the next week or so, I am just putting a feeler out there.

I've never played d20 Modern and don't have any books, so I'm going to have to decline, although thanks for bringing it up to us first!

As an aside, about the IC thread, I was going to respond to Giden when he said I could have the barding at half price, I was going to also have Fizzi purchase Saddlebags if they too where available. I'll write it into the IC thread, but you can just let me know here if he has them or not. :)
