((FR/Rotunda OOC: Information on the War of the Spider Queen. SPOILERS INSIDE))

This is an OOC post, and it's very, very spoilery if you haven't read the books.

Here's the basic plot.

Lolth gets ambitious and decides to seal herself in a cocoon, and is thus out of touch with her clerics.

The priestess, who aren't recieving spells, or any information whatsoever, are confused and having trouble maintaining control in several key areas of the Underdark.

Menzoberenzan has been effectively crippled with civil war, though I'm not sure of the outcome of that.

Ched Nassad fell, literally (it fell to the bottom of the cavern it was in), and of the population of 30,000, only about 3,000 survived. It is now a small haven for Vhaerun's followers.

Maermydra is destroyed as well, and is pretty much a stronghold of Kiransalee, unless of course some adventurers got in and cleaned up that mess. (City of the Spider Queen module)

Quenethil Baenre, a devout follower of Lolth, decides to venture into the Demonweb Pits to figure out what the hell is going on.

Vhaerun attempts to kill Lolth, but is stopped. He is still around, though, near as I can tell.

Lolth ultimately returns as a GREATER deity, with Quenethil as her new champion, the Lady Penitient. Kiransalee has risen from being a demigoddess to a full blown lesser goddess.

Rumors are spreading that Quenethil will now go out and start punishing the followers of the drow gods that are NOT allied with Lolth. She herself probably is not enough to undermine the actual faiths, but she can certainly stir up trouble...

That's the information I have. Whether or not these events have come to pass just yet is not up to me. I'll leave that decision to the coordinator.

Feel free to Rp these out if you'd like, however remember that the CoC and IC rules are in effect for Drow as well as any other character type.

gods on isrp? hmm when were there not, still rather uneffected imsure. All I ask is this, if some of this storyline takes place in ISRP, lets not ignore people that want to effect it because of IC reasons at the time, because if you want a private RP with no one jumping in, go to a private msn chat window or Carpe DM thats what its there for.

Actually by suggesting this gets RPed out, I was referring to the everyday Drow and other people that would be affected by the afformentioned events. As most people know Rping gods and powergamers of the like are stongly frowned upon. There. Clear enough for ya?

Even if it is frowned upon, still they roam the chat maybe more subtle but they do, yes it is very clear, by what you say, thank you for this clerification.
