I'm not ruling color custum requests out, I just don't want to do them often. For you, later, I'd be happy to (if it means getting your story hour back! ;)), but I also have to say that with something like Sundered Skies, I think a blank map would work better, which could be filled in as needed. Unless you want a bunch of maps, which would be a pretty good idea.

So, Dave, what are your thoughts on this? A bunch of little maps or one (or more) bigger ones? Blank or colored? Scribbled by monkeys or rejected by monkeys?

To tell you the truth, what would be less stressful is if I knew what your needs for the campaign were and if I could get a few parameters to work within (even "do whatever the hell you want" would work).

Once I've got those, I'll get to work on it.

Wonderful.

I especially like the hypnotic effect of a map with little landmass and lots of sea.

Just put one little X somewhere and let the PCs start puzzling until their players' heads swim ...

Wonderful. I'll be using one of these the next time I can lure the party to a coast. :D

Thank you! And, yes, it's true...the maps with smaller islands and less landmass benifit more from the hypnotic effect.

...But, they do take longer to make and quite a bit more effort--that, however, is what makes them more fun to make.

Those of you using these maps in your campaigns, feel free to include them in your story hours, if you have story hours; I've already had one such inclusion (too bad I can't read it, 'cause I don't read French! :p).

And if you don't write a story hour for your campaign, write one!

Horacio always needs more story hours to be addicted to.
