Free RPG Day is fast approaching, is your FLGS participating?

The store is The Sword & The Grail in Asheville, NC.

Well, I checked their site and all my payment information...

Their site does not have the event listed...

Also, there is one PayPal payment that came from a "person" (not a store or business) from Asheville. I have an email to them on 2/6/07 and 3/21/07 asking for their store's information as it was a residential address and we specifically said a business address was necessary...I received no response back on either email...and I could not call because there was no phone number on the PayPal information.

I am sorry, but I would have put them down if I received the information or if a consumer bugged me earlier...we just don't have anymore boxes to send out.

Games Plus in Mount Prospect, IL is participating and I will be helping by running the Paizo adventure, Hollow's Last Hope by Jason Bulmahn and F Wesley Schneider. For those who might not know, it is the first level run up to the Pathfinder series they have in the works. It looks like a real winner!

At Books, Comics &Things, we're making FreeRPG Day into a real event. Not only are we giving away the freebies, but we've got a clearance section of stuff and all other gaming items will be 25% off for the day. In addition, we're ordering pizza for our gamers. It's going to be a fun day at the store as far as I'm concerned. The gamers have been excited about it for weeks.

Crud, there is a store near my work and I have to go in for a short time this morning so I figured I could stop in, but the store doesn't open until noon, and I have other things I need to do this afternoon.

I would protest to the owners and let them know that isn't the sort of business I would want to work with. Then take all my business to his competitor, even if they charge a little more.
