yea! glad they'll be able to go out with closure rather than just being cut off and left dangling (*cough*firefly,brimstone,pirates of dark water,dungeons and dragons cartoon*cough*)

The season finale had two endings filmed. It wouldn't be left dangling either way.

And I'd argue that it was Warner Brothers slashing their licensing fee for Fox that saved it, since now Fringe will be 100 episodes long and thus franchiseable.

Still, 13 more episodes should be good, especially since we'll get a single coherent and focused story at the end, hopefully.

This season hasn't been as good as the last one, but it's picking up, and the show deserves a good end.
