Well, no plan survives the battlefield, but it often works out in the end
As you may know, I've been hiatus for a couple of months now. Moving, getting set up, job hunting, all that. So, now that I'm back I'm thinking... dang, there are probably a lot of readers who have forgotten my strip. How do I let them know I'm back? How do I build up the hype machine?
So, as you know from before, I made a 3 minute video promo mockumentary to help get people excited (and I think it worked). I planned everything out for the return. New strip, bonus mini-strips, desktop wallpaper, free mini-RPG (working on the full version now), the works! I set the date and then realized the day before the release...
...I forgot to tell my webmaster!!!
GHAH!
I'm not on Keenspace or one of those other webcomic places, I'm on Kenzer & Company. So I have to rely on the webmaster there. Now he's a great guy, but he's got a LOT of more important things to worry about besides me. I really should have told him about this a week in advance at least.
So, long story short, I missed my promised release date. Now I'm afraid of looking unprofessional and losing reader interest

Ah the fretting and furrowing and other words that start with 'f' of a writer
But on the bright side, it's now up and only one day late!

Hooray!
