They had them on The Screen Savers. Not a short lived tv show, it was on for years. Attack of the Show is a perverse version of TSS. I miss TechTV.

Oh I know me and my husband use to watch it then it went to G4tv. :(

I'd never seen that before. Nice! I think that's exactly what this thread was looking for. Great example of a game session on film, and with those quirky post-production special effects, it's entertaining too!

Uhm, no thanks. My group is one you hear horror stories about. We don't want video taped evidence.

I see nothing wrong stating an enslaved elf child would be worth a lot to human or orcish pedophiles. But people would misunderstand the context when the rest of the group kept going with the subject so i knew better not to bring something that unpleasant up next time.

Aeson-
The Channel G4 bought Tech TV because it was competition. Once they owned it, they took the dumber veiwers of tech TV [still smarter than the average veiwer], and saved money broadcasting only one station.

I'd be very interested to see this. I'll take the link please.

Rel, believe it or not - you're not the only one! :p I got a couple of other emails as well. I'll work on getting a link up soon for you - much work to be done this day!

Like all reality TV it would come down to the editing. Survivor has been going 5 years with just a bunch of people dumped in a remote location. It's all in the editing. Problem is, a well edited gaming session would probably be 1/4 the duration of the actual session. Adding in bitch sessions as KC suggested would probably help. Of course with hard editing a 4 hour session could fit into a 1 hour TV slot. It could possibly be marketted as a game show where the "audiance" votes for the best player at the end. (The DM becomes the game show host. :) )
