D&D General Gameplay Trailer for D&D Dark Alliance Video Game

I'd forgotten all about this, but it was one of the 7 digital Dungeons & Dragons games mentioned in February of 2020. It's a console game which launches in June, and you can now watch a gameplay trailer of it. The game features a Drizz't and his friends, and you get to fight frost giants, beholders, and white dragons in Icewind Dale. You can pre-order it now.

Oh my God, give me that game. Need it. So bad.

As long as it uses a similar gameplay mechanic to Origins or Odyssey, though. Can't stand to play anything before Syndicate (and Syndicate was a great story with a naughty word system).

AC4 Black Flag is really good and I played it somewhat recently.

Going back before that yeah they don't look so great now.

Graphics look a bit dated in this game. Pre 2016 dated perhaps (AC Unity, Horizon Zero Dawn, Uncharted 4).

That's not a deal breaker. Games probably not for me I didn't get into the old DA games.

My wife did though so I'll show it to her but good luck breaking her Animal Crossing addiction.

If she buys it I'll give it a shot.

Assasin's Creed may be a great source of inspiration for a D&D (offline) videogame with only one stealth class character. But in a stealth D&D game the slow and noisy tank classes wouldn't be wellcome, neither the balance-power-breaker spellcasters.

Oof no thanks on that second paragraph. 2, 3, and Black Flag, are good games. Odyssey is garbage with a decent story and some good characters.

It has level grinding. In a stealth parkour game.

Just read that while it was designed for online multiplayer, the originally announced local co-op mode won't be around at launch. :(

I mean I could play solo I guess, but the primary reason I’d want the game is to play it in my living room with friends.
We can't have friends over anyway :p

I am ready for the D&D mobile tower defense game and pastoral farming simulator.
How about a Goblin raising simulator where you have them fight each other in arena battles???
