Oh Dear

Please don't make me list them all.

I can count 20 from where I sit and most of my games are in another room...I really do need help.

I think the only game system we have on the shelf that I haven't run or played is WOD: Demon. There's a few I've only played briefly (Hunter, Vampire). The rest I've played at least a mini-campaign with at some point.

Not too much; I'm not a big spender on RPGs.

Serenity RPG: Got this as a gift from a friend (who doesn't play RPGs). Loved the show, but I don't think I'd game in the Serenity-verse even if the system weren't, well, by and large unfinished.

Dread: I am madly in love with the idea of Dread, but frankly I don't think I have the GMing chops for this; I'd like to play in a game before I try to run one, but Dread games are few and far between as far as I can tell.

Its OK, you're among friends! We understand.

I listed, what, 10-12 unplayed games? My played list includes nearly 100 systems, and of those, I own or owned books for about 60 of them.

Mage - The Ascension.

I always thought that the setting and metaplot were great, but the one time I tried to read the magic system it lost me. I must admit I felt sort of stupid :p

It's pretty confusing. Basically (IIRC) choose what you want to do, see how many dots that might require in different areas and check you have enough, make a roll to see if you succeed, and if anyone saw it and you didn't dress it up like it was non-magical, rack up some paradox. If your paradox is too high, roll to avoid bad stuff.

My list is getting smaller. Now I'm down to:

D20 Modern
Sidewinder: Recoiled
Toon!
Year of the Zombie
Call of Cthulhu
Arcana Evolved

I have several small press PDF games but I'm not including them as I got them via donation bundle packs, rather than purchasing them specifically.

I'm hopeful that at least 2 more will be removed from that list in the next couple of months.

My owned but unplayed games would be:

Twilight 2000
Space 1889
Fading Suns
Gamma World 4th Ed & 6th Ed (I've played 2nd & 5th/Alternity)
ShadowRun (3E)
Savage Worlds
Warhammer Fantasy 2E & 3E
Burning Sands (companion to L5R)
Wraith
Lord of the Rings (by Decipher)
Runequest
Stormbringer (by Games Workshop)
Call of Cthulhu (5th & d20)
Werewolf: The Wild West
Vampire: The Dark Ages
World of Indiana Jones (I actually picked that up at MGM studio at Disneyworld :) )
Rifts (just recently discovered & bought the Ultimate edition, have had a hardbound copy since 98' or so)
Buffy the Vampire Slayer (it was on sale at Hudson's for 5$, so sue me)
Battlestar Galactica
Mechwarrior (1st ed by FASA)
Dark Heresy
Stargate SG-1
DC Heroes (d6 version)
Brave New World
Marvel SAGA edition
Dragonlance SAGA
Buck Rogers
GURPS
Darwin's World
Exalted
Fireborn
Hackmaster
Metamorphasis Alpha (I just found I had a copy of it yesterday, in fact)
Mouse Guard
Mutants & Masterminds
Conan (TSR & Mongoose versions)
Spacemaster
Weird Wars (d20)

Yeah, I've collected a lot of books. I have "trimmed down" my D&D to four 6' tall shelves, and "trimmed down" my other games to take up two and half of a 6' tall shelf.

If I were to list the RPG's I've played once (or twice), it'd be almost as long.
[sblock]
Deadlands
Robotech
Shadowrun (2E)
TNMT (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles/After the Bomb)
MERP (Middle Earth Role Playing)
Pendragon
Alternity
Star Frontiers
Star Trek (FASA, Last Unicorn/Decipher)
7th Sea
James Bond
Spycraft
modern d20
Star Wars (d20, SAGA - played tons of d6)
Werewolf (oWoD & nWod)
C&C (Castles & Crusades)

Rolemaster (MERP's big brother)
Paranoia
Farscape (d20)
Chronicles of Ramlar
Amazing Engine - Bug Hunters
DC Super Heroes (Mayfair system)
F.A.TA.L. (Just kidding...)
[/sblock]

And, ah heck, what I have played quite a bit of
[sblock]
D&D (Basic & Expert, AD&D1-3, I guess I could count 4E)
Pathfinder
