There are plenty of bardic things for him to learn to do as well at the festival, so can't realy go wrong with that.

Well, I think what he's going to do is pick up an instrument, and possibly play around with it some (can't really do much with it, since he has no ranks in Perform); I'm more concerned about how it meshes with his background. I want to make sure it doesn't feel contrived.

Oddly, Oirhandir hasn't had a chance to use his chimes at all during the festival, even though that has always been the default thing to do if he can't find anything better to do. He even planned a picnic with his new girlfriend, with the idea that he'd serenade her all afternoon, and look what happened to that...the local sheriff shows up and arrests a party member! He'd gladly make a perform check for the wedding, but that might be awkward, being best man and all.

So, if there's any free time ( ), Oirhandir will gladly teach Troi the fundamentals of any instrument he'd like to pick up. Although master classes are strictly limited to the chimes!

I was thinking sitar. I have hinted along the way for a little while now that Troi had some musical talent earlier in life, but abandoned it in favor of doing what he's doing now.

So he probably has some idea of how to play an instrument, he'd just have to work out the specifics.

Can I ask for judges or anybody interested to take a look at the learner? In about a month it'll have been around for two years; I'm kinda hoping to have it either finally approved or rejected by then.
