Generic classes from UA

Ceska

First Post
I was flipping through my Unearthed Arcana (bought it just a few weeks ago) and stumbled above the Generic Classes (page 76). After reading the chapter, my (not very developed but existent) powergaming-genes just went amok! Am I right with the first impression, that these classes may be very powerful, if allowed? Has anyone experiences with these classes and is willing to share them?

Thanks in advance for any replies!

Personally, I find that with the Warrior being unrestricted in class skill choice, the Expert is quite weak, compared to the Warrior. I would give the Expert 2 more class skills and 2 more skill points per level (8 more at 1st character level). Otherwise, there is no real role for an expert in a party, as if you have a party of 4 warriors, they can pretty much cover all the skill bases (and the feats that use those skills as prereqs) and be tougher, and have more feats.

I also think the Divine Spellcaster is far more powerful than the Arcane Spellcaster, as they share a spell list, and only the former can cast freely in armor. The latter gets exclusive access to a familiar via a feat, but the former gets exclusive access to the turn undead feat.
