Genre Show Cancellations

ABC officially cancelled Invasion.

NBC officially cancelled Surface.

CBS have already cancelled Threshold.

For the first two, it sucks because they're pretty good or at least decent. The last I felt a little sad but not surprised for a Braga production show.

Invasion is a good show to watch after Lost so that will be greatly missed by me.

I'm not surprised that Threshold was canceled first since that was the one I liked the most. Surface was gone next and that was my second favorite. Last is Invasion which I have been watching but not enthiusiasticly. It just goes with my theory that Hollywood knows what I like and intentionally cancels things based on how much I like it.

What genre are these exactly? I didn't know SUCKY was a genre.

I'd decided to watch Invasion all in one chunk when it comes out on DVD. Does anyone know if they plan to finish up the series, or did they not know in time and it ends with a cliffhanger that goes knowhere?

The season's not over yet, so it's hard to say about Invasion. It's certainly a show that I'm really enjoying, but they definitely made a big mistake, moving it too slowly at the beginning. Same thing happened with American Gothic, which the show reminds me of: slow, slow first 10 episodes, plenty of creepiness but so mysterious that anyone even remotely impatient is going to just give up.
