I believe in paranormal and metaphysical stuff to some extent, but that doesn't mean I believe everything I hear or see.

I generally would think a ghost would have better things to do than wander around a palace leaving doors open. Just like I think aliens would have better things to do then frighten random, innocent people on isolated highways at night.

On the other hand, what would a real ghost look like, if it were caught on camera? Though almost certainly a prank, hoax, or fake, what criteria are you using to make that conclusion? Do you have some knowledge of what a ghost caught on film should actually look like?

Maybe real ghosts have different skin tone from their face to their hands, and visually distort their surroundings in a way that makes it look suspiciously like the photo has been doctored.

That said, I've never seen a ghost personally, and I have no particular reason to think they exist.

I knew somebody in high school who believed vampires existed. I said I knew of vampire psychosis and sexual blood fetishes, and she was like, "no, no, real vampires. They exist. Really." The vampires she believed in were remarkibly similar to those in the Anne Rice novels. I swear some people will believe anything they think would be cool if it were true. Of course, she couldn't hold a candle to the guy in American History class who claimed he was a vampire. He said that it was a myth that vampires burn up in sunlight and every night the moon had an orange aura he was compelled to go down to the West Side of town and feed on homeless people. Crazy as a loon. Kept arguing with the history teacher about basic historical facts. Sure, conspiracies exist, but I think the Civil War really did happen, and he didn't. I have no idea why he thought it didn't.

It's late and I'm going off on tangents. Bed time for Merak....

The fact that it looks like a person wearing a white mask, maybe. I think the employees have been getting lazy leaving doors open, and have cooked up this hoax to keep from getting in trouble.
