[GI] A Game of Improvising IC Introduction

Timothy

First Post
The "Inn of the Crossroads"

"Ah, finally there was the Inn! You could use a good drink, a meal and a good nights sleep after that."

As you step in through the door, you oversee the interior of the building. There are 6 round tables scattered throughout the Common room, two long square tables cover the side walls and at the back there is a counter and some stairs up. Currently, only 4 od the round tables are occupied and two men are sitting at the counter. The Two men at the counter are just sitting there and drinking, occasionaly speaking with the Bartender.
At the tables are four different groups.
One Table has 4 Dirty dwarfs sitting at it. They all wear picks and have large mugs of Ale in front of them. They talk vividly to each other, though you have to move closer to hear them.
Another Table has 2 Gnomes and a halfling Sitting at it. The Two gnomes are listening to the halfling who talks quickly, gesturing a lot.
Another Table is held by a lone knight, who seems to be enjoying his deluxe dinner. His heavy Greatsword rests on the Table, as does his helmet and shield.
The last occupied table features 6 Merchants, probarly the owners of the Carts you saw outside. Some of the mMerchants wear swords, and all have daagers hanging at their wastes. The are keeping two spots free.

OOC: This is just introduction, You can talk to The NPC's, go check out the rooms or the stables, but can't leave the Inn before the games has really started. Plz edit out your sigs. And make clear when you're thinking, "talking" or acting.

This is a nice inn, hope it doesn't get burned down, or destroyed one day Grey walks in, elven chain mail beign carried, whip at his side. He sits for a drink. Love drinking, takes the pain away, the more often I drink, the less it works though. God damn you all "A double shot of whiskey please." Grey asks the bartender. After he gets his drink he walks to the knight. Pathetic coward....huge sword....armor. He takes a seat. "So where are you from?" he asks slighty politely.

With Smoke off hunting, hopefully she remembers not to take domesticated animals, Serith entered the inn to look for a little food himself. He drew a few curious glances - it's not everyday you see someone is armor made from a rhino - as he gave the inn a cursory look-over, just in case there was anything to be worried about.

Seeing an empty table, he took a seat and waited for a barmaid, casually listening to a halfling at the next table jabber on about something to two gnomes.

OOC: Gwolf could you refrain from using the term God damn? Just use damn or darn.

The knight look up, surprised that you sat by him.
"Well, greetings, I am Victor Hussaf, Why do you want to know where I'm from.

You Listen to the halfling who tells about his latest deal, that has gone very good, he's about the go into details, as he notices you listening, he'll lower his voice so his story is very hard to hear. (Listen check: 12+3=succesful) You have to bend your head over a bit more closely, but the you can hear flards of the converstion.

"...Up The wall... ...When that was disabled I made my way... ...Girl, just lying there, barely dressed... ...Done with her, Took the valuables... ...No one has noticed since."

The halfling notices you again, and stops talking, stands up and goes off to another table in the cornor. The Gnomes follow, and at the table, one of the gnomes starts telling something.

Faking a stuck hand, "Blech, there's something all over this table", Serith stands up in disgust and switches tables (or to the bar if it's closer), trying to get within listening range of the group of 3 again.

"And where is that barmaid?"

What a stupid son of a bitch. I have better things to do. That druidish felllow looks respectible. "Just wanted to make sure I didn't offend your cultures, but seeing as you are an unfriendly sort I''ll leave you to your food." Grey gets up and walks to the druid. "Hello sir, I'm Grey, who are you?" Frey extends a friendly hand. Haven't seen a wilderness fellow in awhile...if hes not a complete relgious idiot, maybe he cna help me

Looks like I'm not the only curious person around here. Well, what's good for the goose, I suppose...

"Well met, Grey, I am Serith. If you'll join me, maybe we could exchange news over supper. I know I'm both starved for food and information on the world."

Where possible, Serith will also keep an ear on the halfling/gnomes. If they see me talking, they may not guard their conversation as much.

This fellow seems to be half-way decent.

Grey sits down, and finishes his whiskey and orders some more.

"World news, I don't know any. I am a bit of a fugitive, I know your going to ask why, and despite what they say, I am no criminal, unless being a criminal is being better then someone more rich and powerful then you....uh, yeah....I'm from weaspland and am heading to the unexplored desert to find my father...another long story, what about you?" Grey explains.

Desert... haven't been to one of those lately...

"Well, in the long run, I guess I have no real goal... but in the short run...."

Serith secretly points towards the gnomes and halfling

"... I'm listening to them."

Maybe he could be of some help...

"Hear you there, say if you haven't got much of a future, like myself, maybe you could help me find my father in the desert, you seem to be a natrualist? Thats flashy armor by the way." Grey asks leaning in.
