Should our giant wear armor, or should it rely solely natural armor?

Natural armor only. It'd be hard to look like a hill in most types of armor.

Natural Armor only, unless we want to create a new "grass armor" category (big swathes of grass sod, essentially). Probably better to say that it has grass growing directly on its skin, and call it "natural armor" instead...

Yeah, but if you go for the grass-covered look, you can call it a "grassy knoll"


DM: As you round the bend, you notice the path is blocked by a knoll.

PC1: A gnoll? Come on, guys, we can take on a single gnoll.

PC2: Hang on... is this one of your word games again? Do you mean a "knoll"... a "grassy knoll"?

DM: Yes, good catch, it is a grassy knoll.

PC2: Come on guys, this is just a red herring. I walk right over that "grassy knoll" of yours.

DM: GRRAAURGH!
