Hmm... You know, Colbert does do his special shows where he devotes the whole show to one subject.

Now how amazing would it be to have a D&D special. I could see things like:

-His doctor-skit: with D&D potions and healing spells
-Him pulling out (with obvious dust on it) his old-paladin sheet and starting to do his fake crying from missing it
-Threat Down: His top 5 most threatening things in D&D, at number 1 of course be dire-bears.
-LARPing, who wouldn't want to see Colbert running around New York in fake-armour and a foam sword :D
-Finally near the end have Andy give the PHB to Colbert then in the interview, Colbert and Vin Diesel play.

This my friends would be the ultimate Colbert episode.

I think the most likely break they could get would be one of the PHB editors in the 'interview' part of the show when the book comes out. Of course that assumes they can find an editor who is good enough on their feet to not be totally boring or try to be funny and get schooled by the master.

Hahahahaha, Wormwood, I want your manbabbies.

In other news, D&D is serious business.

I'd love it if Colbert got a gift of free 4e core books. He might not mention it much, but it'd be pretty sweet if he did at all.

Getting 4e on the Colbert Report would be AMAZING. His demographics include so many untapped players, if he were to promote 4e it would definitely get some people thinking about actually playing it.

No I am a member of the Colber(t) Nation. Only a bear would try to twist me into something else.

Your strategy is to turn strength into weakness. I am on to you, you are marked. Divine Challenge so issued.

Might I also remind you of Stephen's true strength? It is of course the great muck-rake for freedom and the continuation of the American way in any quarter of the universe .... even a Points of Light setting.

Therefore, the Colbert Report might be a great place to highlight the most pressing issue
of 4e: THE GNOME GNENOCIDE

Now I know some smart smart smarty pants poster will pipe in and say ... 'oh quit whining they're in the Monster Manual.' Simply a ruse for the murder of untold .... ...... ....... .......3-7 possible gnomish player characters in 4e. By moving the gnome out of the limelight, the 4e designers have effectively shut off the future for our small little vanilla-flavored demihumans.

The only crime more heinous than this would be to give BEARS sentience in 4e ..... all I can say is please keep them in the animal subtype, or else the Points of Light will soon be snuffed out.
