gmail?

If I'd saved EVERYTHING I'd received via Gmail, I'd have at least a gig used up by now. I let it get to 50% when it was still 1 gig (people send me pics of their kids and what not). But I have this near obsession about getting rid of old emails, so I download the pics and delete the messages.

MonsterMash / die_kluge: any chance I could get one of those invites?

Not MonsterMash or die_kluge, but I dropped you an invite just now.

Edit: Ignore. Your RHouse addy is invalid. If you don't get an invite from MoMash or die_kluge, put your addy here, or PM one of the RHers.

You can label archived emails. You can also put multiple labels on emails. I'm finding it very useful, now that I'm actually filling up the account a bit.

And the best part is the auto-labeling. For example, if you think a site asking for your email is going to spam you, you can just enter it as 'yourname+spam@gmail.com' and anything sent to you from there is automatically labeled as spam. Of course, there's always BugMeNot for those types of sites, too.

Next, I just want some file storage...

My buddy uses gmail to store music files that he commonly listens to. It's a really fast server he can download them from wherever he wants. His usage is at like 95% (it was before the size hike, at least).

Does he email files to himself?

Can you use other tags as well for organizational purposes?
