Slum Fu Art
Here is some of the production art for the slum fu combat archive, in various early stages of development. Obviously none of these images appear as seen here in the finished product, some of these are very early sketches. Still, they convey a sense of what I think is the excellent quality and technical accuracy of the art. One other nice feature is that in the finished documents, the images are all to scale.

I would go over those links again. Half of them are not working properly ;)

My bad! When I copied them from the other thread, it apparently changed the links.... they are all working now, have another look.

As Jupp said, most links are incomplete.
This is reasonable as fanart, but if you expect people to pay for this, bad...

I think most of them would do fine as professional artwork as long as the focus of the piece was not on weapons. If, for instance, it was a small weapon section in a much larger book, it would be fine.

Actually, these are for a series of PDF's (which will probably also be made into a book) which do focus on weapons as well as armor. They are all copies of photographs of original weapons or accurate reproductions (about 80% are original surviving weapons). They are all very accurate portrayals. For example, compare the langen messer drawing (topmost of the three messers) with this photograph of one of the surviving 450 year old original swords it is based on:

or compare the italian bastard sword ('spadona') above with these photographs of two surviving originals here

I'll retract my statement, i made a judgement on the links that worked, the crossbow is not good btw. Now that the other links are working, pretty good (professional)!
