Good divine char build?

Hello again everyone. Im here with a question from another d&d person. The group is playing a divine only campaign. Now they normally stay away from divne classes all together so this is totally new to them. The classes I suggested have already been filled in the party(They have a cleric who will be nuetral and channeling neg energy,A wild shape druid and an oracle who doesnt know what mystery he is yet). So this player wants to know what divine class can he play that if fun and effective? And if you know what kind of build should he use? I tried to help but the only divine classes I play are druid ranger and oracle. So my knowledge is quite limited :P. Does anyone perhaprs know a good inquisitor build?

Archer Avengers are the way to go

Archer avengers are quite effective. Get a str 14, high dex and then wisdom. Judgments are versatile, because you know all of them right at the beginning and can use them to pretty much everything. Monster knowledge is cool and adding your WIS bonus to initiative will prove deadly. If you prefer melee, I suggest two-hander over the other styles (you will never get enough feats to make them work). As for race, I suggest human, the extra feat al level 1 will help you with all the feat tax archers face at lower levels, until you get rapid shot.

Inquisitor is full of win... or it is for my playstyle, anyhow.

* casts like an Oracle, fights like a Cleric, gets skills like a Bard.
* Simple weapons plus all bows, Medium armor
* and bonuses to identify monster weaknesses.
* and free Teamwork feats that work for you even if your party doesn't have them.
* and a special 1/day buff.
* and the ability to enchant a weapon with the Bane ability...

... and it goes on.

Ok. So the starting lvl is 3. As for stats we do 4d6 minus the lowest. He got.
18,17,17,15,14,13. And yeah he rolled all those right in front of us.Lol. Good stuff. So he is human and has 1 extra feat and a +2 to WIS. He picked chaotic good and went with the comp greatbow as deities favored weapon and fire for the judgement resistance. Should he pick an archtype? What domain should he choose?

Well he specified he doesnt like paladins. Says they seem boring and stuffy. He likes the inquisitor idea. As do I actually ive never seen one built to function properly. Maybe a inquis ranger cross class?

A couple of ranger levels will give him some much needed BAB, a free archery feat, favorite enemy (this can be very flavorful/powerful depending on the type of campaign you are playing) and tracking (I think it stacks with the inquisitor class feature).
BUT, bear in mind, that this will delay the inquisitor higher level excellent class features... so is a gamble. If you are no planning to continue the campaign to very high levels, then the ranger dip will be most helpful (not mentioning, flavorful). If, instead, you are going for a high-level game, sticking with inquisitor all the way is recommended.

Hmmm.True. Not sure how far this campaign will go. The deity that has favored weapon greatbow is the deity of the hunt. Thats why I considered a dip in ranger.
