Goodman Games embracing 4e!

Sure. There will be over 140 monsters in the book. I'll post the table of contents soon; I'm still making final cuts and additions.

Sounds intriguing. Will any of the monsters be written up (like the back of the MM) for use as PC's? I'm a sucker for monstrous PC's.

Absolutely. There will be a Racial Traits appendix. It won't be nearly as large as the MM's, but there are definitely some humanoids that are playable as PCs or NPCs.

Yay! And thanks for answering questions here. Good community relations can't be underestimated.

Why would they write 4e(GSL) next to the product, then? Seems quite a bit misleading, opening them for all sorts of trouble. I know the stuff released before October 1st is not GSL (obviously) but it looks like what comes after will be, which fits with what Mr. Goodman has said on his boards...

Double check those links.;)

As far as I can see the 4e DCCs all say rule set 4e while the non DCC adventure compilation, the dragonborn book, the class book and Blackdirge's Denizens are listed as 4e (GSL). This might be for the GSL product line delineation, though the denizens one in December seems to cross back into the DCC product line.

Blackdirge, can you comment on this?

I haven't been able to find a definitive Goodman statement on the date the 3.5 DCC pdfs are planned to be removed from sale at rpgnow etc.

If around half of their products released after October 1st are marked 4e (GSL), wouldn't you feel it is safe to say that Goodman Games are "going GSL"?
