Goodman Games joins the high-priced market...

I'll have to check this out. I'm looking for a setting to overrun with demons and devils for a possible new campaign, and this looks like as good a victim^H^H^H candidate as any!

The Wilderlands would also work well for this since the whole (unmapped) south is said to be populated by demons.

Bah they stole my world name. :\ It was on my submission to WotC's Setting contest.

I doubt that Goodman Games was privy to the setting search submissions, though.

I heard Joseph Goodman say, "we COULD make our own name, but why should we? Some ingenuitive fellow submitted a world name into the WOTC setting search. Aereth...sounds a bit like Earth...let's go with it! This way, he'll be upset that we stole his unpublished setting name! Ha ha!"

I perfer Mondas.
"Another name for Earth" :D. Although I have to admit that I've never seen any Doctor Who stuff.

In reality, it's a variant of "world" (lat. mundus, fr. monde, it. mondo). The latin name for Earth seems to be strictly limited to sci-fi.

Popular are also variants of Gaia, Greek for Earth.

actually it's not even just aereth. it's got that little accent line over the a which i usually think is a little overdone for fantasy names (especially apostrophes) but here i think it looks pretty good!

Terra (latin, ground) seems common use too.

Well this looks very interesting! I'm a huge fan of Mystara, and have been thinking about using it for a future campaign. This product gives me pause a possible rival. .

At the very least I will likely purchase it in order to mine it for ideas, and the sheer enjoyment of reading it.

I like the two world maps, players and GM's. That's cool.

I agree that this is a great idea. I'm endlessly disappointed that more companies don't do this, as it is extremely useful for actual gaming
