Okay, so how do folks show this support then?
"We will make new products if you buy products, but we don't have any to sell."
If GR posted a thing saying "we'll be making a 3.5 Class Book, X pages for Y price, but only once we have 500 orders. Once we have such, it'll be out in 9 months." People would probably buy it, but saying long time fans need to show support and not offering them a way to do so is sort of redundant.
Now, there's nothing wrong with saying "we believe our resources are better used elsewhere, sorry." It's just the "if demand is there, we will do it" with no method to demonstrate demand.
Heck, if GR said they were taking money for preorders on a class compendium or races compendium I'd be in on that.
Or a Pahtfinder update for some of their stuff.
But me personally getting happy over 3rd era? Nope.
But then again, EN World seems pretty touchy these days to anything that isn't lovely/feely towards 3e news.
